with periods of rain
and snowflakes...
Are you sure it's the first day of Spring?
Bursts of colors that have been missing from the landscape
peaking, poking, and leading me to believe
that it could be the first day of Spring.
Free Italian ice from Rita's.
Now I know that it is the first day of Spring.
Your poem was delightful. I adore this stanza:

Such fun play with words! Beautiful!

ReplyDeleteWhat fun! Is free Italian ice at Rita's like a robin sighting?

ReplyDeleteSometimes I feel like we miss out on spring here in northern Wisconsin. We go from snow to mud to summer. I like your Italian ice sign of spring, though!
ReplyDeleteRain here in Northern California for the first day of spring. But I guess we can't complain.
ReplyDeleteFree Italian ice - what a fun sign of spring! We have Italian ice, but only in summer!
ReplyDeleteI know. Spring keeps coming and going in my area too. Glad you found something on which to latch as you wait for Spring to make up its mind.
