My favorite night of the week.
It should be known as the new Friday night.
Everyone is singing, talkative, yet chill at the same time,
In the home stretch
and happy that tomorrow is Friday.
Tomorrow night we will collapse,
exhausted from the weight of the week,
And do absolutely nothing.
Tonight we celebrate
Our successes this week.
Thursdays, the new Friday night.
Funny, Thursday night was always my favorite, too. Ever since I was in college at Ball State, we celebrated Thursdays, mostly because a lot of my friends didn't have class on Fridays. Now that I'm older, it seems like an extra night of fun. Friday are usually more relaxed at school, and Thursday after staff meetings we usually have the work done for the week. Enjoy!
